Ideas on Choosing The Right Acoustic Panels

In an office premises the meeting room should be properly sound proof and if you are not aware about the room acoustics, you must fist understand about all the options available. First of all, you need to analyze how much sound you want to absorb and in most of the cases it is from mid to high frequencies. In many offices it is the human voice that bounces around the room and for this you need acoustic panels.

The size of the acoustic panels is not that important. What you need to take care of is that there should be enough acoustic panels to cover the room. The performance of acoustic is not much affected by its density. For example it wouldn’t make much difference whether you purchase a 3 lb per cubic foot density core material or a 6 lb density core material. Also, consider the fire rating of the acoustic panels. To have flammable material all over the walls wouldn’t be a good idea. Therefore, before installing acoustic panels have a very good understanding.
